Welcome to BAR 1597, one of Penrith’s newest places to visit.
We offer a range of cocktails, lagers and real ales from local suppliers, including Kirkby Lonsdale Brewery,
Ennerdale Brewery, Bowness Bay Brewery and Great Corby Brewery.
Our industrial outlay of the interior gives a modern yet rustic feel with a warm and welcoming atmosphere with
a hidden secret courtyard which can be accessed through the main bar area, with covered huts and heated seating area.
It’s a perfect area to wind down after a long day at work and de-stress with a nice glass of locally sourced gin or one
of our many local ales.
