INDOOR ADVETURES
Experience exciting indoor adventures in Llangollen, North Wales with our Target Sports activities, including Archery, Axe Throwing, and Air Rifle Shooting. Our experienced instructors provide all the necessary equipment and safety gear, and our indoor ranges mean you can enjoy these activities any time of year. Choose from 30-minute, 90-minute, or half-day sessions for a thrilling adventure. Join us for an unforgettable experience!
TARGET SPORTS
Archery, Axe Throwing and Air Rifle Shooting.
Target Sports are undoubtedly the most popular activity we run. Our indoor ranges mean this activity is not dependant on the weather.
30 minute single element sessions
For this, the customer will book either Archery, Axes or Rifles.
In this, we teach the basic techniques and let participants have a few practices.

OUTDOOR ADVENTURES
Llangollen boasts a wide range of exciting outdoor sports for enthusiasts of all levels. Whether you're looking for an adrenaline rush or a peaceful retreat, there's something for everyone. Scale new heights with our rock climbing adventures, or explore the breathtaking Welsh countryside with our hiking trails. You can also enjoy kayaking, white-water rafting, and other water sports on the River Dee. Llangollen is a true paradise for outdoor enthusiasts!
CANOE HIRE
Arguably the most relaxing way to view the beautiful Welsh countryside and cross the UNSECO Pontcysllte Aqueduct. Available in a full day of half day session (3 or 7 hours), we will meet customers at the canal, kit them up with all the safety gear, give them a small safety and ‘hot to’ brief before setting them off on their adventure.

CANOE AQUEDUCT CRUISE
Similar to the Canoe Hire, but with the added comfort of a qualified and experienced instructor. We will teach customers how to efficiently paddle their canoe, before taking them over the breathtaking Pontcysllte Aqueduct.

WHITE WATER RAFTING
Our White-Water Rafting is run onsite on the River Dee. This 2-hour play session has customers splashing down all 3 onsite rapids, playing games, messing about and having fun.
Minimum of 4 people per raft.

Due to higher river levels, during October – March, we offer Sunday morning river trips from Horseshoe Falls back to TNR.

WHITE WATER KAYAKING
Available in a 90 minute taster session, and a half day experience, White Water Kayaking is run onsite.
The 90 minute taster will have customers learning the basics and put this new knowledge into practice. Then we’ll head into the moving water.

The half day taster session will do all that of the taster session, and more. After learning the basics, we will take this new skills and adapt them to moving water and head down the rapids.

CLIMBING AND ABSEILING
Climbing and Abseiling on real rock at the local crags at Trevor Quarry. In this session, customers will not only get the chance to climb multiple routes, but also learn to belay.
This is a half day session, available AM an PM.

GORGE WALKING
A 3 hour session, exploring a local gorge. Jumping off rocks, squeezing between boulders, navigating through naturally formed tunnels and sliding down natural rockslides before abseiling down a waterfall!

WHITE WATER BODY BOATING
Exclusive to TNR, Body Boating is a new activity for use, available in a 90 minute taster session, and a half day trip.
The 90 min taster will see customers paddling around, playing games, surfing waves and paddling down the same rapids we would raft down.

Everything from the Body Boat taster session with the added extra of a trip. Enjoying the flow of the river, exploring the features on the River Dee, we get in at Serpent’s Tail and end up on site.
